Principals Welcome
Welcome to S&DSS
On behalf of the staff and students at Sale & District Specialist School it is my pleasure to welcome you to our school’s website.
Sale & District Specialist School provides a well-rounded education for students with an intellectual disability within the Wellington Shire. Our wonderful new facility allows us to deliver a range of programs to students in the best environment possible.
Sale & District Specialist School believes that all students have the right to an education that allows them to reach their full potential, enhances self-esteem, confidence and maintains their sense of dignity. We recognise that parents and carers know their child best and aim to build a close relationship between home and school that is vital to support children to achieve independence.
Our school is committed to providing an environment that offers support, understanding and information to parents, families, caregivers and the wider community. We believe in developing the school as an integral part of the community and in working with others to provide an education that meets the needs of every student. Thank you for visiting our website and taking the time to get to know our school, our staff and our students. We look forward to your visit and working with you into the future.
